The Outlook connection diagnostic is trying to connect (state) but shows Error in the Authn field. Checked if websites are blocked in our firewall Tried to create a new profile for the user, but it couldn't get passed the user/password Kill all Office process in the task manager (after starting Outlook it still doesn't work) Disable powersaving on the network card Disable Hardware Acceleration in Outlook Enable Offline mode (can't disable it without a reboot, which temporarely fix the issue) Run the network diagnostic on the NIC = no error found Tracert = seems to get to the end and the response time is good Used the Microsoft SaRa tool = no problem found Closing Outlook and reopen it (not working) They can send and receive emails fine on their cellphone and webmail, but Outlook can't seem to reconnect.ĭoing a reboot or a logoff/login seems to work for some time (sometimes days but most often only a few hours). We've been having the same issue with a few of our usersįor the past week in both of our sites (different ISP, firewall and network)
